Caring presents real difficulties. While it can be fulfilling, caregiving frequently involves isolation, stress, and physical exhaustion.
For four decades, Crossroads Care Kent has been funded by Kent County Council to provide specialised support for carers, alongside Short Breaks contracts funded by Kent's Clinical Commissioning Groups.
Our Impact Report serves a few key purposes: showing the difference we make to carers every day through our programmes and partnerships, highlighting the importance of regular short breaks for carers' wellbeing, and holding ourselves accountable and transparent, both internally and externally.
