Macmillan Volunteer Service Comes to a Planned Close

Crossroads Care Kent's Macmillan funded support support service will come to an end on 31st July 2026 after 14 years of operation.

Crossroads Care Kent announces that its long-running Macmillan-funded support service will come to an end on 31st July 2026 following the completion of the current funding period.

Since its launch 14 years ago, the Macmillan service has provided dedicated, personalised support to people living with cancer and their families across Kent and Medway. Together with Macmillan Cancer Support, we have been proud to offer practical assistance, emotional reassurance, and respite that has made a meaningful difference to many local residents during some of the most challenging times of their lives.

As the funding cycle concludes, Crossroads Care Kent is working closely with Macmillan Cancer Support, local health partners, and community organisations to ensure that anyone currently receiving support is guided toward appropriate ongoing services. Our priority is to make this transition as smooth as possible for all affected individuals and families.
