We are delighted to announce that, tonight, we have been awarded Kent Care Charity of the Year at the Kent Charity Awards 2021.
We are truly honoured to have our work supporting unpaid Carers and the people they care for recognised in this way. At one of the most difficult times in living memory, when the charity sector has stepped up to support societies’ most vulnerable people in the most challenging circumstances, it means so much to us that Crossroads Care Kent has been given this incredible award.
Crossroads Care Kent employs over 200 staff and a further 200+ volunteers, who in turn support over 6,000 people across Kent every year. None of what we do would be possible without the skill, dedication and passion of every member of our Kent-wide team, who have kept working right the way through the pandemic, ensuring unpaid Carers get the support they so richly deserve. Thank you to everyone who makes our work possible.
We also would like to say an enormous thank you to every organisation and individual who supports our work through grants and charitable donations. Again, without this incredible support, we wouldn't be here.
