Sir Ed Davey and the Bath Philharmonia's Young Carers Choir have partnered to release "Love is Enough," a Christmas song written by young carers themselves. The song highlights the unique challenges young carers face all year round, particularly at Christmas, when they continue managing caregiving responsibilities while their friends are celebrating.
Sir Ed Davey, who cared for his mother during her cancer diagnosis as a child, understands the pressures young carers face. Six young carers worked with Bath Phil's Creative Learning Team to write this heartfelt piece, celebrating their experiences and the relationships they have with the people they care for.
Crossroads Care Kent provides wide-ranging support to young carers across the region, including liaison with schools, regular social groups with respite opportunities, school holiday activities, emotional support through workshops and counselling, and confidence-building sessions — helping young carers across Kent get the support they need to thrive.
